This aircraft, serial number 1490, registration number N27336 came off the production line in June 1940. It was fitted with a sixty horse power Franklin engine and was designated as a 60 TF. It later received an engine upgrade with a Continental A 65-8 engine, resulting in the new designation of 65 TC. The aircraft experienced a ground loop incident in 1960, which resulted in damage to the left wing and fuselage. The aircraft was repaired by Floyd Watson in accordance with CAM18, and returned to service. The aircraft was out of service from 1968 through 2002. It was restored and returned to service in July 23, 2002.
